Front bumper assembly

The complexity of bumper checking fixtures can be very variable, depending on your needs, from CMM fixtures fastening the part only by its RPS (fixation points), to cubing checking fixtures, simulating the part vehicle environment and controlling its deformation by Go/No Go gauges and dial indicator.

Our checking fixtures are produced in aluminium, the components submitted to wear-and-tear are produced in steel. Tolerances for RPS (fixation points) and dial indicator points: ±0.05mm. Tolerances for simulation blocks: ±0.1mm.

Minimum documentation: dimensional report of your checking fixture, 2D assembly drawing, assembly CAD. Optional documentation: R&R report, user manual, stabilization certificate.

Bumper checking fixtures are usually equipped with many dial indicator control points, which means a long cycle time and a lot of data to collect and process. The data acquisition process can be made easier and quicker by using our data acquisition system, KAPTURE-S. The reliability of the measuring process can be ensured by complementing it with KAPTURE-C.
