Front bumper cover

Bumper covers fixations are usually a simpler version of the assembly bumpers fixations. Consequently, the costs of the bumper cover fixture may be decreased by designing it and producing it together with the bumper assembly fixture. The control of bumper covers may depend on your activities: if you are in charge of producing the bumper parts, and of assembling the bumper, you may control some of the characteristics of the bumper cover on the bumper assembly fixture; consequently, your bumper cover fixture will be simpler. On the contrary, if you are only in charge of producing the bumper parts, without assembling the bumper, you will need a full check of your part.

Our checking fixtures are produced in aluminium, the components submitted to wear-and-tear are produced in steel. Tolerances for RPS (fixation points) and dial indicator points: ±0.05mm. Tolerances for simulation blocks: ±0.1mm.

Minimum documentation: dimensional report of your checking fixture, 2D assembly drawing, assembly CAD. Optional documentation: R&R report, user manual, stabilization certificate.

The number of dial indicator control points on bumper cover fixture is extremely variable. In the examples shown in this website, the number of points ranges from 2 to 42 dial indicator points. Consequently, for the versions of fixtures with a high number of control points, it will be crucial to be able to measure your part quickly, and without any risk of mistake.
